Product Description

1920's A.C. WILLIAMS CAST IRON ST. BERNARD RESCUE BANK

  • This antique dog-shaped coin bank was made in the 1920's by A.C Williams Company, a cast-iron company founded in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
  • This coin bank is made of two cast iron halves tightly pressed together and screwed in place with its original screw!
  • The adorable dog seems to be a St. Bernard New Foundland rescue dog!
  • The dog has a rectangular pack tied onto her back that has an opening for coin insertion.
  • Although the dog has lost most of its glossiness/brassiness, there are traces of its gold-toned accent paint on the straps around the dog's body. Overall, this coin bank is in great condition for its age!
  • The coin bank measures 5.5" wide x 3.5" tall x 1.25" deep and weighs 15.2 oz before packaging.
