Product Description

HARD TO FIND! 1980s “BATMAN & ROBIN” GOTHAM BAT CAVE PUSH BUTTON LANDLINE PHONE (WWTTON)

  • Although the phone was made in the 1980s, it’s supposed to look like a stylized art deco desk phone from the 1930s.  It really does look realistic for a reproduction.  Even the weight of it is pretty heavy, which phones of that time were.
  • It was designed by Stonich Jackson McHenry of Los Angeles, California and made by WWTTON.
  • Telephone in very good condition, no dings, chips, or cracks, but it does have a tiny bit of rust around a couple of numbers.
  • All buttons work, handset rests on cradle and is fully functioning. You can hear like you would from a regular phone of the 1980s, not of today necessarily, with an option for pulse or tone sound.  It does work, but it’d be a cool deco for a Batman fan even if it didn’t.
  • Phone, cord and phone base all in dusty “bat cave” black color.
  • Rotary style phone look but it has buttons where the holes would be.   Buttons all look a little yellowed, but all that were pictured online looked like this.
  • Center of rotary reads "Gotham" in black on white.
  • Phone uses standard jack (USOC RJ11C).
  • 45" long phone cord, 9" phone
  • Base: 5" wide x 4.5" tall x 7.5" deep
  • Model 190 is on the bottom of the phone on a label that is still very clear.
