The milk glass has a feel that is slightly different from today’s milk glass. It could almost be called a soft, satiny feeling.
Overall this bottle is in excellent condition, with no imperfection, cracks, crazing, or chips.
Indigo colored floral designs and gold gilt paint are still quite good on raised designs. Although this bottle has had some paint that has faded away, this bottle could lose all color and still be beautiful.
The original glass stopper, also hand painted with the same embossed design rests snugly in mouth of bottle.
These barber bottles often held cologne.
Skinny barber bottle design widens at base significantly.
