ANTIQUE MOIRA POTTERY PHILPOTT'S ORIGINAL FOOT WARMER WITH ORIGINAL STOPPER

• This antique pottery piece is a foot warmer, “Philpott’s Original Foot Warmer”, made by Moira Pottery Co. This was a pottery company in England, they started in 1922 and closed in 1972.
• Foot warmers of this style were originally made in the 1920s, and were popular through the 1940s. 
• The foot warmer is made of glazed stoneware. It is in excellent condition with only one minor chip in the glazing, no scratches or cracks, and still has the original black plastic and rubber twist in stopper! It looks brand new!
• The shape is rather unique - it has two flat surfaces so that it can either stand tall or lay on its side with the cork on top. 
• On both side of the jug, written in black is this: “ATTENTION! Men And Women! Behold! Entirely New— Daring Design— PHILPOTT’S FOOT WARMER ORIGINAL satisfaction guaranteed!!!”
• It measures 10.5” wide x 5” tall x 5” deep and weighs 3.5 pounds before packaging.
