EARLY MID-CENTURY RECTANGULAR PURPLE AND GOLD CHESTERFIELD CIGARETTE TIN BOX
This vintage tin was made in the early mid-century time period, at factory number 25 in the district of Virginia.
At one time it housed a set of Chesterfield brand cigarettes, which were made by the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co.
Chesterfield Cigarettes are made of a blend of the best quality turkish tobacco and a select choice of a few American varieties.
This tin is gold-toned. On the top of the lid with an off-white base is "Chesterfield" written in gold and dark purple medieval type font, and the Chesterfield logo of a golden crown. The tin also has a thick dark purple stripe along three of its sides.
This tin is in good condition! It opens and closes very easily, but is losing some of its paint na has some scratches due to its age and use.
The tin measures 5.75" wide x 4.5" tall x .5" deep and weighs 2.5 ounces before packaging.
